Baa Bahoo Aur Baby was a very popular weekly programme which had a respectable position in trp ranking Hindi language television programme on STAR Plus channel about the story of Godavari Thakkar and her family. After her brothers settle in America, Godavari moves into the mansion given to her by her sister-in-law, Gunvanti (Supriya Pathak Kapur), with her husband, Labhshankar, their six sons and two daughters, and their partners and children. It is about the problems Godavari’s family face, which are typical of any middle class family in Mumbai. The first season of the series ended on March 28, 2009 with the second series airing on August 23, 2009 before ending on Feb 21. This show is ranked No. 7 on the list of STAR Plus top 10 shows of all time. Also it is India’s seventh longest running serial.
