Imagine you being held at gun point and kidnapped from your wedding. How traumatic this would be for any one of us. Ghar… Ek Sapna is a story which revolves around Kakul who is a beautiful and vivacious younger daughter of Patna`s powerful politico-economic magnate Om Shankar. She is well educated and her only dream is to have a complete family after marriage. She is innocent and actually naïve and since her upbringing has always been sheltered and protected, she has never had the opportunity to fall in love.
Kakul is swept off her feet by Samman and once in love she is willing to do everything for her love. Though she knows that her family is rich and powerful, she has no idea of how dangerous they are for other people, nor is she even vaguely suspicious of their evil ways. As the story progresses Kakul does become more mature and much stronger but she never loses her innocence, good nature and small-town Indian values.
Ghar… Ek Sapnaa is the story of a home that we all dream of. But it takes a lifetime of building relationships, for us to actually make it a dream home.
