Kamini Damini
A saga of enormous proportions, the serial stars Hema Malini, in a double role. The story is situated around two middle-aged twin sisters, Kamini and Damini.The story is centered around Kamini, her industrial husband Ranbir Kapoor, and their three kids. As time goes by, the leading protagonist has problems of monumental proportions coming her way. Her daughter-in-law Chaya turns out to be a fanatic for money, as she steals monies from her in-laws` and deposits it into her personal account. At the same time her husband, Ranbir develops enmity with an underworld Don, Roshan Choudhary. Roshan teams up with Shekhar, one of the directors of Ranbir`s companies and both of them make it their goal to destroy Kapoor. Because of an altercation in the family, Rabir is shot and he`s confined to the wheelchair for the rest of his life. Kamini is made to do the menial jobs around the house and she`s ill-treated by one and all. This is when she informs her twin sister Damini about her problems. Damini comes down to India and switches roles with her sister without anybody`s knowing. One by one she starts to settle score with everyone who`s mistreated her beloved sister. But will Damini be able to restore peace in a house mired with insurmountable problems? And what about Shekhar and the Don? Will justice finally catch up with them?
