Prratima
Prratima` is the story about relationships and emotions, revolving around a tyrant mother-in-law and her helpless daughter-in-law. The story begins with Prratima, our protagonist, getting married to Amol Roy, the son of a rich zamindaar. The marriage is a disaster from the very beginning as Prratima`s mother refuses to see her daughter`s face for life, as marriage was completely against her wishes. Even Prratima`s husband starts distancing himself from her, as he`s influenced majorly by his mother, who has disliked Prratima right from the day she crossed the threshould to live in her in-law`s home. And mom-in-law won`t just stop at hating Prratima. She goes beyond this by marrying her younger son to Anjali Thakur, her original choice for her elder son, Atul.
